Modified 1986 Jetta (Part #1)

Check out these pictures of my 1986 VW Jetta used vegetable oil powered car. This page somewhat covers the steps I took to set up this car.

Below are pictures and captions of the body and the engine compartment modifications that I made . . .

Great side shoot of '86 jetta with the new chrome hub caps

Better shot of the wheels

I added a rear wing and a working custom dual exhaust / also added some more lettering to the rear deck lid

Nice shoot of the working custom cowl induction hood scoop

Close up of the cowl induction scoop with a painted simulated carbon fiber stripe

It's a little dark but there is a air induction slit on the back side of the scoop

Shoot of the veg conversion parts that was installed / (left upper) veg fuel filter with heated coil /(upper right) new diesel fuel filter /(center) for a visual view I put a 1ft. piece of clear fuel line /(lower left) I added a 2nd back up fuel filter / ( somewhat hidden upper middle) 2 selenoid switches

Close up shoot of the veg conversion parts that were added

(upper ) Hole under hood for fresh air induction (lower) adapter that was added on to the K&N air filter box
